Manager of the Month - December 2021

Congratulations to George Curuci for winning Manager of the Month December 2021. George was nominated for his dedication and hard work over the Christmas period at Millbrook Park, with his continuous commitment helping to push the project to completion. Well done George!

We managed to catch up with George and ask him some questions about Millbrook Park.

Please tell us a bit about the work you completed at Millbrook Park and your role:

As a site manager it is my ultimate aim to deliver projects on time within the budget as well as managing risks. Within my role I take pride in creating the best landscape for the client, with a continuous desire to succeed. At Millbrook Park I did exactly this, bringing designs to life using amazing quality resources. As a team we built podiums using both soft and hard landscaping, a key element of the Millbrook Park Project and something I am particularly proud of.

Did you encounter any problems and how did you combat them?

I can safely say within the construction industry there is no such thing as a problem free project. However for Millbrook specifically, we encountered some minor setbacks early on during the design process. To deal with this we ensured communication between Elite and the client was seamless ensuring all issues were fixed before the building work was due to start to reduce delays further down the line.

Anything you would like to say about the site, highlights of this project etc…

I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside EcoWorld, they have a great structure, are very organised and have excellent experience. All of this made the project even more enjoyable as solutions were found very quickly and efferently to any problem, big or small! I look forward to working with EcoWorld again in the future.
