Manager of the Month - April 2021

As always, we are incredibly grateful to all of our managers for their continual hard work throughout the year. We are excited to announce that April’s Manager of the Month Award goes to Cornelia Puscalau for her outstanding performance at Watford. ISG, the client, have also been extremely impressed by Cornelia’s hard work, awarding her their manager of the month award as well.

We had the fantastic opportunity to speak to Cornelia who provided us with a deeper insight into her role at Watford and what she has achieved in closing out the works for ISG.   What was your role at Watford? I am the Project Manager at Watford and my main responsibility within the project has been to liaise with the main contractor and architects so as to achieve the quality that Elite is used to delivering.  Did you encounter any problems within the project and how did you combat them? All projects have ups and downs and issues can arise every day. The most important thing is to remain calm as there is always a solution.  The most recent issue that we had to deal with was communicating with Watford Council in order to coordinate our project with other work which was taking place in the area. As a result, many design meetings had to take place and there were various changes made to drawings. However, all of this went well and Elite managed to deliver another great project. Alongside a great team of experienced operatives, we have managed to deliver a high standard of both hard and soft landscaping at ground floor as well as on three terraces.  What have you achieved in closing out the works for ISG? Being a first contractor for ISG, Elite performed extremely well. As a result, ISG have asked us to be involved in future projects and we have already been provided with a soft landscaping scheme in Kensington. On every project, there are always new things to learn. You understand what went well and what could have been done better and no matter what, you will always feel proud of your team and the work that you complete.   We thank Cornelia and the rest of our fantastic team members for their hard work, allowing us to constantly produce impressive results for our clients.
